With Systiva XS seed treatment fungicide, growers of sugar beets now have a powerful new tool to help prevent and control troublesome soil-borne diseases. Systiva XS seed treatment fungicide controls multiple fungal diseases, allowing for robust crop establishment and vigor, providing growers added confidence in their crop at harvest. It is effective on Rhizoctonia, one of the harder-to-control fungal pathogens, which can cause 30-60 percent yield losses.
How It Works
Systiva XS seed treatment fungicide is powered by Xemium® fungicide, the same active ingredient used in multiple effective BASF fungicides. Xemium fungicide is a unique mode of action that provides broad spectrum, consistent control of a wide variety of soil and seed-borne diseases. This unique chemistry allows it to move around the whole plant and redistribute as the plant grows for long-lasting activity.
Systiva XS Seed Treatment Fungicide Performs in the Field
In University of Nebraska field studies*, sugar beets treated with Systiva XS seed treatment fungicide experienced a 3 ton/acre yield increase over base treatments. Additional field studies by Betaseed, Inc.**, the leading sugar beet seed brand for growers in North America, demonstrated improved stand counts in crops inoculated with Rhizoctonia, over the inoculated check.
